Journey Scapes Travel has completed one year in business!  It has been an exciting year of  getting to know people, planning travel, and constant learning!  This year we have booked cruises and resorts.  Some have already traveled, while others are awaiting their travel dates.  We are working on even more plans for the next year and beyond.

I get excited when clients get excited about their travel plans and like a mother hen, I worry about making sure all their points of travel run smoothly.  My work doesn’t stop

when you book your trip.  I check weather forecasts, send date reminders, follow up with suppliers to confirm reservations before you leave your home, provide information on activities at your destination, and more!

In March, I had the opportunity to go to Jacksonville, Florida for a week-long training session that was incredibly informative and motivating.  I was able to meet several travel supplier representatives to learn more about what their companies have to offer my clients.  I was able to form relationships with other travel agents from across the

country.  We discussed the bests and the worsts of experiences and were able to bounce ideas off of each other.  I learned better ways of taking care of my clients and that I really, really like the travel business.

Looking forward, I am hoping to continue to provide clients with personalized service to new locations and tackle itineraries that I want to steal for my own travel!  A big “thank you” shout out to everyone who has been so supportive of this endeavor, especially my family, who still love me, even through my most crazy “travel” days.  On to another year…!
