The Truth About Travel Dollars

Let’s face it, we all want to pay as little as possible for anything we purchase.  We ALL like a good deal!  However, we have also heard, “you get what you pay for.”  This is true in travel, as much as with any other industry or product.

As a travel planner, I am working as an advocate for you to get the best possible value for your money.  I am checking multiple travel suppliers, playing with travel dates/times, looking for whatever perks I can get to stretch your dollar.

A cheap deal isn’t always the best deal.  If I presented you with a vacation package and explained I got the cheapest deal possible for your seven night trip to Hawaii, including lodging and airfare…..”and it will only cost you $500!”…that sounds like a GREAT deal!  Then, you might start looking at the airline, or the hotel, and asking, “why couldn’t my travel agent find me a nicer location?” earthquake-1665888.jpg

On the other hand, if I told you that you’ll be staying in a 5-star resort, in a private oceanfront villa, with butler service, and you’ll flying on a private jet, you may think you scored BIG!  You did!  Just don’t stop breathing when you see that the total is more than the $2,000 you set in your mind to pay towards your trip.

How can I present you the best offer for your money?  It can be difficult to meet your large-home-389271.jpgvacation expectations when we don’t have a budget to work with.  I will work just as hard and provide the same service, regardless of the budget amount.  By presenting your travel planner with a range you’d like to spend on your vacation, you will most likely be more satisfied with the offers they present you.

My job is not to sell you the “cheapest” travel deal out there but to find you the BEST VALUE for what you are wanting to spend.  My goal is to make sure you are so satisfied with your travel experience that we can plan future adventures together.
